| VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT AND MANAGEMENT |
Resources in most organisations are stretched and it’s sometimes a very good idea to bring in local people to lend a hand.
Funders are increasingly seeking evidence of community involvement in projects and using local volunteers is a great way of doing this and also ensuring that your project is relevant and necessary.

- I have the experience and skills to manage large number of people. I’ve managed up to 60 members of staff and as many volunteers.
- In a six month period ending in March 2008, I organised volunteers for special projects for the Cirencester Community Plan.
- The volunteers clocked up over 880 volunteer hours, which is equivalent to 24 weeks of full time work or a value of £34,150!
