Buckhorn Weston and Kington Magna are two parishes with a single parish council. Each village is a historic settlement at the centre of its parish, amidst attractive North Dorset countryside south of Gillingham. Pellegram supported the preparation of the Neighbourhood Plan which was Made in 2023, to restore development boundaries around Buckhorn Weston and Kington Magna to allow for a more positive consideration of small scale infill housing to meet local community needs.
